Unlocking Profitability in Earth Observation: The Case for Edge Computing
This is our company's first public case study, with 20 pages showcasing our modeling approach and insights.
This analysis was inspired by a larger market pricing model we developed for a client last year.
The analysis shows edge computing can turn many EO companies from unprofitable to competitive—and ready to scale.

Our Past Projects
We’ve shared some of the projects we can speak about to showcase our subject matter expertise and impact. Schedule a consultation to hear more!

DARPA LunA-10 Program: Building on our extensive lunar expertise, from proposal to completion, we worked on the lunar metal production supply chain and energy optimization models, & got a patent in new extractive metallurgy techniques. Worked directly with CisLunar Industries and collaborated with SpaceX, Northrop Grumman, Blue Origin, ICON, Firefly, Crescent, Fibertek, GITAI, Helios, Honeybee Robotics, Nokia, Redwire, and Sierra Space to create a multi-stage plan for infrastructure on the Moon.

NASA Cost Benefit of Debris Removal: NASA ran an analysis validating our founder's low-cost debris removal study quoting: "We found the lowest cost estimate for performing controlled reentries in a recent paper by O’Leary", cementing him as a world leading expert in dynamic space operations. His specialty in logistics and architecture along with his software contributions and computer science-inspired methodologies have become the basis for many different RPOD/ISAM spacecraft architecture strategies.

Many Major ISAM Projects: Have led (or had a key role in) over 10 winning DoD/NASA Phase 2 proposals across ISAM markets in robotics, satellite servicing, propellant transfer, in-space assembly and manufacturing, debris removal, constellation design, RPOD, dynamic space operations, and more afterwards helping many of these programs to meet their deliverables. Have additionally supported about a dozen ISAM spacecraft already in flight or scheduled to fly with systems engineering, architecture, orbital mechanics, and more.

Earth Observation Data Pipelines: We built a multi-actor, multi-node cloud simulation environment to test pricing strategies for space data software—modeling the economics of edge computing, cloud infrastructure, and AI-enhanced insights across Earth Observation (EO) networks. This dynamic sandbox allowed us to help companies reimagine their data pipelines from the ground up, bringing legacy satellite systems into the 21st century and positioning them to capitalize on the explosion of new computation, software, and connectivity capabilities.
